Article 348
Assessment of the completeness of an application to use a group internal model
1.
The group supervisor shall determine whether the application is complete within 45 days from the day of the receipt of the application. An application shall be considered as complete if it includes all the documentation set out in Article 347.

Where the group supervisor determines that the application is not complete, it shall immediately notify the applicant that the six month period referred to in Article 231 of Directive 2009/138/EC has not yet begun, specifying the documents in respect of which the application is not complete.

Where the group supervisor determines that the application is complete, it shall notify the applicant without delay that the application is complete and the date from which the six month period referred to in Article 231 of Directive 2009/138/EC. That date shall be the date on which the complete application was received.
