Article 2
Definitions
For the purposes of this Directive, the following definitions shall apply:

‘reporting person’ means a person reporting an actual or potential infringement of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 to the competent authority; |

(2) |
‘reported person’ means a person who is accused of having committed, or intending to commit, an infringement of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 by the reporting person; |
|
(3) |
‘report of infringement’ means a report submitted by the reporting person to the competent authority regarding an actual or potential infringement of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014. |
