Accessibility of information on the European single access point
From 10 January 2030, the information referred to in Article 4(7) of this Regulation shall be accessible on the European single access point (ESAP) established under Regulation (EU) 2023/2859 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 7 ). For that purpose, the collection body as defined in Article 2, point (2), of that Regulation shall be ESMA. ESMA shall draw that data from the information notified by the competent authorities in accordance with Article 4(6) of this Regulation for the purpose of establishment of the central public register referred to in Article 4(7) of this Regulation.
That information shall comply with the following requirements:
be submitted in a data extractable format as defined in Article 2, point (3), of Regulation (EU) 2023/2859;
be accompanied by the following metadata:
all the names of the fund to which the information relates;
where available, the legal entity identifier of the fund, as specified pursuant to Article 7(4), point (b), of Regulation (EU) 2023/2859;
the type of information, as classified pursuant to Article 7(4), point (c), of that Regulation;
an indication of whether the information contains personal data.
