Article 18a
Accessibility of information on the European single access point
From 10 January 2028, the information referred to in Article 18(1) of this Regulation shall be made accessible on the European single access point (ESAP) established under Regulation (EU) 2023/2859 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 5 ). For that purpose, the collection body as defined in Article 2, point (2), of that Regulation shall be ESMA. ESMA shall draw that information from the information notified by the competent authority of the home Member State in accordance with Article 17(1) of this Regulation for the purpose of the establishment of the central database referred to in Article 18(1) of this Regulation.
That information shall comply with the following requirements:
be submitted in a data extractable format as defined in Article 2, point (3), of Regulation (EU) 2023/2859;
be accompanied by the following metadata:
all the names of the fund to which the information relates;
where available, the legal entity identifier of the fund, as specified pursuant to Article 7(4), point (b), of Regulation (EU) 2023/2859;
the type of information as classified pursuant to Article 7(4), point (c), of that Regulation;
an indication of whether the information contains personal data.
